(1 votes - 4.00 / 5)It comes a time when you do a shot and you’re so proud of it. This is the case. This picture is completely unprocessed, it’s pure photography. White balance tactics, silver paper in front of it to bounce the light aganist the petals and of course high speed shutter, cause it’s a macro without tripod, 1/250 f/5,6. About the lens, it’s the Sigma 24-70 M, which won the prize as best lens of 2009, and it’s worth every single penny you pay for it.
My photography has evolved over the years. I've gone from wild post-processing experimentation with Photoshop toward a more classic approach.
As my best teacher, Joe McNally, says, it's all about the Moment it Clicks. I still use post processing but just white balance and curves adjustments, trying to do my best to get a clean shot and forget about digital monitor work. I always remember one thing. Light is the most powerful tool i have.
